Why Don't Posts In The Worlds Count?

I was wondering why posts in the 'Worlds' aren't counted towards your post count.

A lot of useful posting goes on in those rooms. I'm pretty active in Hardwareworld and a lot of people get good help and advice there (some of it's even from me! B) )

If we're helping people, etc. then why don't the posts count?

I believe its just the discussion part that doesn't count towards you post count, it was a way to keep them from being spammed ;)

But I see your point, :) may be some kind of system can be worked out in the worlds were 2 posts only count as 1 on your post count so that people don't feel like they aren't getting any recognition for the help that they give :D

I'm not really bothered about the posts, I was just wondering why - it didn't make much sense to me.

But I can see that it might have been an anti-spam measure, ie. MusicWorld-->FC.

You are right.
Problem is though, there are people (not present yet) just waiting for a topic like this to get post points (ie spam it).

I don't have a clue why they think those stars are so important, they ruin good topics with it, and at the end everybody will be judged on what he does for this forum anyway, not on how many posts he has. B)
