Cant Install Game

when ever i use the setup for a game,. it installs for like 30 min.. but when its done it says it cant open filname.txt what to do..

its on a disk... i bought it at compusa.. it was on slae. 14.99 its halflife

Sounds like a corrupt disc then, take it back.
