A Letter From Me To The Board

well.. in the past 2 months or so ive been having mixed feelings about this place... and ive decided to write a letter to the board, so you can all get my feelings as well.

so it goes like this...



I joined this board in May of 2003 (nearly a year since ive been here :)), and i originally joined after a friend of mine gave me K-Lite 2.10 build 3 instead of Kazaa that i used at the time (the forum was on the startpage...).
So i joined...

at first, i had a few questions to ask about K-Lite and the use of it... but very soon i got the hang of it, and it became an easy-peasy program for me to handle downloads with...

So, i turned to help people with questions about K-Lite, as i desired to become a mod, something i didnt get, and acctually, i dont really mind now...

I started posting loads of posts every day (as i felt i needed to help and be respected with my "big post count"), and i became obsessed with the board, that 99% of my PC time i spent in here...
Then, i started being being friendly with some of the guys here (like Paul, [B][O][T], Liam and variouse other members), and i thought of the board as a place to hang and chill out in, and i really enjoyed it here, and had some real quality timewith the board members.

Then... at around November of 2003, VB and Paul left the board, resulting in the addition of 7th and Error as the new admins...


This is the point where i thought the board was going for a new and fresh start, and boy i was so wrong.


I met Jonno, my best friend on the web, and since have had a great time with him all the time, and he was the one that kept me coming back here all the time.
Soon after that i joined his forum, UKF, and became a dedicated member of it, and never actually came back to this place for one main reason:


This board, has turned into a military base. Mods, Admins and members dont get along very well (like SH... who recently had an issue with the admins/mods), and i felt as if this place was falling out of hand.... maybe because of the lost respect that was held for Paul and VB, maybe because the new admins werent as good. i really dont know.

the point is, this place has become to strict, and i feel that this place has become like an abandoned base, where thousands of people came to ask and share thoughts about K-Lite, their life and hobbies, and so many more things...

I feel this place... has simply been going down the drain these past few months, and i really dont know if ill be posting regularly anymore (except maybe Sportsworld, a place where i feel like its warm and cosey in, and i can discuss about sports, my favourite pastime).


so, i know this was long, maybe not interesting, but this is how i feel. :(

seriously reading your post makes me feel a bit sad for you, you should be going out more instead of spending time on this boards. sorry if that sounded offensive.
u r here to post ur opinions and all, who cares what any mod or admin does. i think they spend too much time here as well :lol: .

thing is... ive had a 3 month break, and i dont feel the need to come back as this place has turned very dark...

i didnt take that offensive, as i do feel i overdid it back then in the summer of 2003...
