I've been "away for business in the States" for a while (what a common euphamism around here) and when I clicked on the "View new posts" function, there were 258 pages of new posts. Then, when I left the site, closed my browser and came back, there were still 258 pages of new posts...

What do I need to do to get the "view new posts" feature working correctly?

:blink:

hey noob

this is a bug which ive noticed with many boards on which i post - i think its an IPB thing...the only way to resolve it is to click on "mark posts as read and return to index" on the "view new posts page"

n00b = noob = newbie = newcomer = someone not experienced in the ways of a practice/program/forum

pronounced n-oo-b

like the noise a cow makes with an 'n' instead of 'm' then a 'b' at the end.

but here, its cos thats his name (read the SS log in the post) :D
