Have I Killed My Gfx Card?

For some reason my Radeon9800XT is showing weird things on the display after post for example choppy squared wrongly colored graphics on the screen.
Does anyone know what causes this as I wasn't there when the problem started.

Usually is a sign of overheating, so tell us what the temp on it is.
