1 was the best. Most original and most stunning...no body had done nething like it before so totally unexpected..

3 was awesome in regards to effects and plot and left enough to make a 4th film

They all were good most people don't like because they think it is a action movie but it is more sophisticated than that.

imho the 2nd was the best as far as sfx and story , but overall the first should have been the whole story

it was a waste of 9 hours to stech this story

1st one had the best plot; overall the best in the series.

2nd one had the most action and was really entertaining when I first saw it.

3rd one didnt suck IMO, but it was the shortest Matrix movie, and had way too may questions unanswered that I thought I would get answers to. IMO, it has a better plot than Reloaded, plus a so-so finale.

Overall, I kinda see Matrix 2 and 3 as one whole film, like Kill Bill is one whole film and it was spilt in two seperate parts in order to cash in more on the franchise.
If that was the case, then the third movie hasnt even come out yet.....

But from what I've heard over at Matrix Fans.net, there could be a prequel to the series, since things that happened in the past are mentioned in all 3 Matrix films; if these past events didnt play some important role in the movies, then they wouldnt be mentioned.

i think its stupid where in the 1st one he can only just kill 1 agent then in the 2nd matrix he could take on about 100 of them and then in the 3rd matrix he nerly died killing one at the end <_<

I liked them in the order they came out in. I thought the third was the weakest of the 3.

The 1st was a classic all the way.

I also disliked them in progression with the 3rd being the worst.

In the second movie I recorded the fight scenes because that's all that I can watch again.

The third ....well there aren't any fight scenes of note.

It's so unreal_____dude!!!

Believe it or not I could watch the Lethal Weapon series more and it had less special effects and fighting.

The third movie was the worst of that bunch.

Well....in order of the movies for me:
1st - awesome - one of the best movies out that year!!
2nd - Good, real good - had some awesome special effects and fighting
3rd - yeah....... not as good, but I'm glade that their wont be any more movies

2nd one had amazing effects
3rd was awesome

All three are the best.... :)

first one was awsome
second one... good fight scenes but boring (haven't seen it in a while, can't remember the plot)
the third one was "da best" really good fx, specially when the sentinels attacked zion.

wasn't it because neo being the one and stuff, became stronger than a normal agent, but then smith (after figthing with neo received part of neo's "power") became stronger and even more strong each time he copied himself.
so when he took the oracle's life and all other person in the matrix, he was like the whole matrix fighting against neo... :01:

at least that's how i got it :smilie4:

i dunno, the 3rd one was the weakest to me; was more like any other mass produced action film, whereas, the 1st & 2nd had that unique Matrix mystique.
