F***ing Dat Files

as you can see above all my downloaded movies and software are staying as dat files. this is easy enough to fix with a movie but how can i make a dat file a .exe file. ive just downloaded all 500+ megs of 3dsmax 5 on dial up and its really getting annoying. any help really appreciated - thanks very much - raxmus40

:huh: Why don't you just rename the file extension to .exe too? :huh:
Anyway, if that keeps happening, just use DAT Renamer (http://www.angelfire.com/ego2/idleloop/dat_renamer.htm). ;)
