Photo Gallery - How To Make Images Lower File Size

Hi, i have a bunch of images i want to make into a photo gallery. I need to make all the images small in dimensions and file size to put them on html (and then a hyperlink to the larger file - i can handle this). What software is best for converting the images?

Do you want to make a photo gallerie for the web ? Use JAlbum or JoJoThumb both are freeware , you know where to find them. ;)

I use ArcSoft Photo Studio...works well for me + u can edit the pictures as well.
