I have Time Warner cable as my service provider.(Road Runner being my ISP)
For telephone service I use DTC.

I have basic cable which is about 75 channels, and my broadband internet
service which cost me 93 dollars a month.

My telephone (not counting long distance charges) runs about 40 dollars a month,
for a total of 133 dollars a month.

A cable provider (TSC) from a neighboring community is offering service in my area now...They have some nice deals so I signed up.

Check out my package!

TSC Ultra

Basic cable (99 channels),Digital Tier service (150 channels),
BrightLighting ET (broadband) service and my Telephone service for
75.99 a month!

What do you pay for similar services in your area?

Peace brotherdoobie

it is a good point though, I was thinking what if you had a specific question that belongs in a different 'room' but you were only interested in an answer from your fellow loungers, should it stay in here?

oh and about 30 quid for 512/256 :( broadband, dunno the conversion

Yep, ADSL. 8Mbit down, 256 up. I have a cable modem and everything.

Haven't you heard of progress.

If dan's here, maybe he still has that link to the speed test.

I'm rather interested in whether it matches the specs now that you lot find it so incredible.

I think ours is $40 for 1024/256...Our cable guy said they were upgrading in the summer to 2 Gbit but he might have been smoking crack but that would kick so much ass if that happened.
