What bands/songs would you want in the very much anticipated upcoming GTA San Andreas? There are many different styles of stations, so you really dont need to worry about the type of music...


I say.. keep a classical station, because it's very pleasing to drive ontop of people like a madman whilst playing such pleasing music :D :D

Here's a list of the songs i would want as officials:

StaticX - control_it (great madman driving theme)
Prodigy - Breathe (nice relaxing drive-to music)
Korn & Garbage - Freak On A Leash (remixed version.. rave.. awsome)
Coldplay - Clocks (alot of people heard this on an HBO commercial..very nice song)
Moby - Natural Blues (has that "city" theme. another good drive-to song)
Collide - Another (tight song.. heh sounds like strip club music)
Linkin Park - Cure For The Itch (awsome and most favored instrumental)
Linkin Park - Session (another awsome instrumental.. these 2 linkin park songs would go good on some kind of techno station)

I'll add more later..
:01: the other 2 soundtracks were pretty tight, so a 3rd one will need some different music to pull it off.

gta games tend to hhave more of a hiphop theme. i doubt theyd put linkin park on it

The game is set in the 70s from what I&#39;ve heard. Yes, they must have had Linkin Park in the 70s. I know there were a few newer songs in Vice City, but it will probably be as 70s as possible.

Actually, GTA games have always had a soundtrack, based on radio formats. There is a rock channel, a hip-hop one, a talk channel, etc.. so the format would appear to be cross platform so that multiple artists can be included. Does anyone know if the new game takes place in modern day? :music1:

Play roles in the game. I&#39;m sure I saw it in the Official PLaystation 2 magazine, but since it&#39;s 3:20 am in the UK, I can&#39;t go about hunting for it at the moment

Slayer wasent around in the 70s. You&#39;ll be lucky if you get AC/DC. If you wanted Raining Blood(Regin in bloods an album not a song you moron) then go play Vice City. That was on there. ;)

But yeah the rock station will probably be full of a bunch of kickass 70s rock. Just as long as they dont put any soft rock on there. :angry: &#39;

I heard San Andreas is gonna be based in the 1990s&#33; hmmm and it is gonna have someone else besides tommy veccetti..

hopefully you can play as different people normally without cheats or mods tho..

They should have some hardcore Rap/hip hop - something like NWA, Run DMC etc...
and if so have some new rappers (50 Cent, Snoop etc) rap old style songs for the game... that would be awesome....

Remember that San Andreas is in a city like Compton, so we need at least half of the stations to be Rap/hiphop... it goes with the theme of the game :ph34r:
