Similiar to Iraq? Not.

Hugh Thompson witnessed his fellow American troops slaughtering women and children in Vietnam. He also stopped them from further murder when he had the chance.

I had forgotten just how serious My Lei was.

The Vietnam war does not get much of a mention on TV these days. The last thing I saw was a documentary about Vets that worked in Laos removing cluster bombs and other ordnance that failed to go off. They get no official support because technically the bombs are "not there".

Their dedication is extremely commendable and will, with the passage of time, no doubt be given the recognition it deserves too.

An interesting link Busyman.
