Opera 7.50 Final

Been using Firefox lately. But just got & setup Opera 7.50 wo java. It's much quicker than 7.23 & even Firefox. And that matters cause I'm on 56k. :)

I get java straight from Sun Microsystems. Works better imo than Opera prepackaged with java.

Actually, I switch from Firefox and MyIE2 all the time. I didn&#39;t want to try Opera as soon as I read it comes with ads. I&#39;m not buying a browser to get rid of ads that comes with it. <_< :lol:

If you find yourself drawn to IE, then you should try MyIE2 (http://www.myie2.com/). I was surprised it had so many features without bloating it up.

I was using the 7.50 beta for Linux and it kicks ass. Seriously, almost better than firefox. If I get my hands on the final and a nice Linux serial then I may make the switch. .......for good.

Plus thoose themes for opera are awesome and they install just like that in a snap, unlike firefox or mozilla on Linux you have to change a bunch of permissions just to get a few extentions working.

I know this is just going to burn you up even more, but... the price you quoted there is for the mobile phone Opera browser. The "desktop version" is &#036;39. It used to be &#036;30...

I&#39;ve been using Mozilla, and just recently switched to Firefox, but I also have Opera 7.23 installed (unregistered). Regardless of the price, which I, too, feel is very high, it&#39;s a pretty damn good browser.

Over the last couple of years i&#39;ve switched between opera and firefox/firebird, but for the last 4-6 months i&#39;ve been using firefox exclusively because opera was too slow loading and there were a couple of sites which i used a lot which didn&#39;t quite work in opera, but recently i tried Opera 7.5 and I prefer it to firefox in almost every way. Its not quite as configurable as firefox&#39;s extensions, but imo everything you&#39;ll ever use is there and is slightly better worked out and more professional. I reckon opera 7.5 is a serious improvement over the previous 7 versions, so if you&#39;re using an earlier opera I&#39;d strongly recommend upgrading. Opera 7.5 is currently the best browser available.

If you don&#39;t feel like paying to scrap the ads, there are always serials.

Well am trying it now. Had to use a keygen to remove the ads. I remember trying this a while ago so am seeing what changes they did to it. I would still never buy a web browser.

Is using a keygen in Opera safe? Does it check?
