When you copy music media files between Microsoft Windows Media Player and a supported portable device, copy operations may take longer to perform as more items are added to the Media Library. Specifically, the time to copy increases exponentially as the number of items in the Media Library increases.

Yeah. If you don't have it, it won't be vulnerable.

So, here is how you do it:
Press the Windows key + R
Then enter this into the run dialog box:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall

You probably should run it twice to be sure and then delete the files it leaves behind the the programs files directory. That should get rid of it. I think it only works on Windows XP. I'm not sure. If it doesn't work, you can try XP/2000Lite (http://www.litepc.com/xplite.html), if you can find it.
Cheers.
