Here are a few songs thate we've composed.I'm playing guitar for 1 and a half year(s).I have mosty written the guitar parts,bass and keyboards (and drums on some tracks).

The songs are MIDI.I hope we get a chance to record the songs with some good recording equipment, because it sounds much better with real instruments.There are 4 songs we are currently working on (the songs are not yet finished, so they are pretty short):

1.) Ray Of Light (http://opovi.host.sk/MIDI/rayoflight.mid)

2.) Traveler's Tales (http://opovi.host.sk/MIDI/travelerstales.mid)

3.) Meltdown (http://opovi.host.sk/MIDI/meltdown.mid)

4.) Excalibur (http://opovi.host.sk/MIDI/excalibur.mid)

EDIT: Use Right Click -> Save Target As ...

We play power/speed (prog.) metal, so I hope to get some replies of god ol' metal fans.

:cool2:

I want your opionions. Do you like the songs ??

1.Ray Of Light - 2stars {too short}
2.Traveler's Tales - 2stars{way too short}
3.Meltdown - 1star- {way way too short}
4.Excalibur - 3stars - {short}

All these songs sound like something you did on your computer.And they sound like they belong on some old 1980's videogame.

1.) I started writing those songs a few days ago.Of course they are not yet finished.

2.) They sound like that because it's MIDI.You know, ever heard of MIDI ???.I compose those songs on my guitar, and then I write 'em down on the PC in a program called Guitar Pro 4.As the progy plays all the notes I have entered, they are beeing played as MIDI.

Thanks for your comment.I'll post when we're done.
My friend , who's playing drums in the band, and me compose the songs mostly together.

Today (Sunday) we will rehearse, it'll be fun like always :D

We hope to get a chance to record the songs live, with real instruments so you can hear what the songs REALY sound like.

The only problem in recording those songs and finishing them is that we don't have a singer :frusty:

We are seeking for a vocalist so hard :helpsmile:

B) Well I sound a little better then William Hung. :D

Maybe with some(alot of) singing lessons Arm could sing. But that aint gotta happen. :frusty:

And no damnit, this company is working on voice synthesizers that mimic human singing and actually sounds like singing from a person, as they claim. Maybe in a couple of years (if even that long) these synthesizers would be on the market and no longer need to hire a vocalist. :)
