My Hand Hurts

I have just really hurt my hand when it accidenttally came into contact with the corner of a metal table at great speed.

For the first 15 mins I just had pins & needles from my elbow to my finger-tips, but now it hurts when I type and I am having to use one hand.

This is a complete ball ache as it is taking me ages to type anything.

Shall I go to A&E and wait around for 5 hours just to be told I've bruised something or shall I sit in the sun & hope it mends itself?

good call goddess - I got 1/2 a case of San Miguel left over from last nights BBQ that should do nicely and presumable if I drink it all I will not feel the excruciating shooting pains in the back of my hand any more :lol:

Go to hospital, you might have broken something if it was the back of your hand that hit the corner :(

it was the back of my hand.......and it was the corner.......... :( and i still can&#39;t use my little finger or the finger next to it properly............. but there will be a long wait at hospital and i have been drinking all afternoon :lol: so they won&#39;t be able to give me any drugs..........

Check if any bones are broken
If there is - go to hospital
If there is Not - Go to Hospital cxause youll probably have 3rd degree burns

(it dont take much to break a bone if you hit right, but mostly its the swelling)

I believe there called boxer fractures...Can be quite painful :(
