Failing that,

Fill a small (clean) glass with tap water and hold it to your eye. Tilt your head back and start blinking. The water will sting a little but it will wash it out ;)

A foreign body in the ear can be incredibly painful, particularly if it is dancing on the eardrum or resting against the sensitive lining of the ear canal. Don&#39;t push the bug in farther, or you might rupture the eardrum.

did you discover that you are talking shite? they use leeches on skin to clear it up, but using maggots in your ear is just preposterous. a moggat would eat right through your ear, or worse lay eggs. they do use maggots on other parts like if your feet are really badly infected it helops clear them, but not the ear.
p.s. its the discovery channel also.
