The Macintosh CRT is mounted in a custom-fitted bracket behind a swing-away fresnel lens, which hangs from what was the platen of the original typewriter. A bank of relays lines the right side, and radio tubes stand in front of the screen. The speaker has been installed in a WWII Army surplus microphone housing, projecting from the right side of the machine.
