View Full Version : Need Some Criticism On This Texture

Going back and fixing these to get them as close as possible to the real thing is no big deal, so pick em apart if you have to. Doing something special so I want to get these as good as I can get them :) Remember it's just a texture at different angles, not the whole thing.

Sorry for the big sizes but at 3000px by 2500px this was as small as I could get it without losing too much detail.

So whadda ya think?

the only thing that really strikes me as 'off' is the left edge bevel thing.
it's kinda....rough where it's lighter.

and....what is it?

Yeah I see what your saying, right by the windows, that shouldn't be too much of a problem though, the windows will be tranparent in the end, just added the black bg so ya guys could check it out. I'll fix it anyway though, it's starting to piss me off :lol:

personally i think you should have moddeled the whole thing instead of using texture with bump, still it's quite nice :)

Yeah it kinda looks like something from GTA when you rotate it :huh:

Towers won't be tall enough for any clouds or sky I don't think, mostly alls you'll see in the end is the base and the fountain Plaza, but I suppose I could throw in some reflections of buildings? Or the Plaza maybe, Thanks for the suggestion that helps :)

@Marius, That's a good idea, but I wouldn't have a chance in hell of pulling that off, my knowledge of 3D is limited to spheres and crappy cubes :P
