Painting My Comp Case

hey guys im thinkin of painting my computer case red and black. But i have no idea wat the hell im doin lol. :unsure: Wat type of paint do i use. Obviously spray paint??? but wat type??? the front of comp is plastic so will i have 2 use a different type of paint and should i coat my case in something b4 i get stuck in2 painting it/??? :huh:

any help would b good or a link 2 website or sumtin

That is the worest spray job i have ever seen.

I would be embaresed to say the least to even show that on the web let alone put my name on it.

If I dida spray job like that i would kill my self.

I mean ok it was dont out of a can but still it is fucked.

I guess its like any paint job its all in the prep and priming . :)

Aaron,
Given your (admitted) complete lack of knowlege about painting do you really think it&#39;s a good idea to learn on your PC?
The art and craft of a good paint job takes years to master and some fairly expensive equipment to boot.
OK results can be had using hardware store spray cans, but it is not easy.
Worse comes to worse, take it to Maaco or the like...they can do a lot better and faster job than you.
In a perfect world the ideal finish would be powdercoating.
Very tough and durable.

I work in a body shop at a big car dealership now...besides getting to drive fancy mercades around all day im also friends with the painters...i could get them to paint my case for like 10 bux...i got a silver chieftec which most of you have prob seen..i just duno what to do with it really haha

so far so good i put on the 1st layer. and yer i aint worryin 2 much if i fuk it up cause im hopin 2 b purchisin me a red and black lanmoto case 4 &#036;200 nz.
so i thought i mite as well have a go moddin my case cause if i stuff it up i aint goin 2 matter 2 much. ill b able 2 live with an ugly case 4 a few days but im not sayin its goin 2 b ugly if u know wat i meen....hopefully mayb :unsure: lol

Ive taken all my parts out and taken all the pannelling and face covers off so i can get a nice even sprayage&#33; everytins goin all good and i havent stuffed anytin up so my parts should b lookin "wonderful" in my new case :o ahh cnt wait till i get it

ive sprayed all my panels now and doesnt look 2 shabby 4 my 1st go. i chose the exact colour i wanted aswell so im stoked bout that. wasnt 2 sure wat the colour would look like when i purchased the spray paint so i took a wild guess...i guessed rite lukily. lol :P

but now im up 2 the hard bit i got spray paint my face cover on my comp case. Its got lotsa curves and buttons lol :blink: and led lights.....this could b a bit tricky. :smilie4: .....lotsa masking 2 do oh and its plastic unlike the other panels so i aint 2 sure if the colour will b the same any ideas guys???? :unsure:

lol i was reading the face cover part but right when i read face i sneezed and then im like, wait a sec, he&#39;s painting his face? :lol: lolm then i continued reading ha.
