im not being funny or anything m8, but... those prices are in $ he wants £, so im guessing hes from the uk :)

also, if u convert those prices from $ into £ that is VERY expencive for a GF4 card

this price i got for a top GF card is *Leadtek GeForce 4 Ti 4800SE 128MB VIVO 8x AGP Retail Box our Price £127.03+vat = £149.27p*

for a Ti4200 - u can get it for about £120 inc vat

Look for the GeForce4 Ti4200 64MB version. You should be able to find them at quite a reasonable price. The 64MB version has been tested and proven to be faster than the 128MB one for less money. See tests here: Toms hardware VGA charts (http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic/20021218/index.html)

You will be able to run just about any game available now quite well with that.

You can look for more advanced cards if you are really an avid gamer.

So your sayin the GeForce4 TI 4200 64MB is better than GeForce4 TI 4200 128MB.

And does anyone know how much to get it put it in are is it easy to put in.

very easy to put in, u put it in the little black slot in ur pc if it's a vga, or the big white slot if it's a pci, and go for the 128mb if u can. it's better.

who was just replacing the signs..?? it depends what the exchange rate it is.. there is no point in going to a website that is not in the uk for prices cos if u did buy it from america then u have shiping change on top which would also bump the price up...

as for the card with 64mb of ram comprard to the 128mb of ran.. yes there is very little differencs also if u buy the TI 4200 and are willing to overclock it abit u can get upto the same bantch marks as the Ti 4800 (as long as u have the cooling;) )

but i was not saying which was the best card... i thoghtb the questioin was *can u get a good gfx card for £££* yes u can is the answer the only cards better than these are the top of the range radons and the brand new nvidia FX cards but seeing as they are twice as much money there was no point in telling him about those..

and yes u will be able to play everygame with a GF4 card, maybe not at MAX detail for the likes of unreal 2

Radeon 9500 is better than GeForce 4 ti, IMO. GeForce falls way behind in the FSAA/Aniso tests.
