but i reinstalled it and it has only blocked 2 ips in 2 days..

It good be something simple, like it saved preferencs or logs or you have changed a setting some were. I use ZA I tell to it work quitely in the background but it has a setting to tell me every time I'm being pinged or probed .

I have been thinking about getting Zone Alarm, I saw it being used at a friends house and I was quite impressed. I think tomarrow I will download it. ;)

Even the free one is good , but in this day of fileshareing, everyone one want's the pro or newest one. :)

have u changed what p2p ur using? for example, i use protowall and when i use overnet, it goes mad blocking ips all over the place, but when i use k-lite or BT i hardly ever get a hit

could also be that it was picking up ips from IE when ur p2p was running making u think it was blocking more

also i use sygate pro which is the best in my opinion (apart from a bastard prob i am having with avast at the moment!! :angry: ). But apart from that, i wouldnt change. Saying that ZA might be the best for u...
