Connect Camera To Ati

I have a RADEON 9000 PRO graphic card with a S-Video jack and I was wondering if I could connect my camera to this jack or is it for video out only??
I am wanting to use my monitor as a viewer for taking pics.

I have a video cable and an adapter.

Also is there any special software needed.

Sony Mavica-FD 90(digital camera).....It has a video connector.

it is just for video out.

you can buy a video capture card to get your movies onto the computer though, if u want to. they aren't too expensive. about 70bucks canadian, 50 or so american.
