What a great illegal goal from England there <_<

Rooney is being his usual thug self, kicking the keeper in the face

Bollocks.

Yes he is an aggresive player and so are many players, but if your referring to the incident with the keeper that looked like a genuine accident.

And illegal goal ?? there was nothing wrong with it.

As the commentator has already said, Rooney had more yellow cards last year than goals. i think that speaks volumes

Yes !

For Everton in the premiership which is a total different style of play. Plus the same could probably be said about a lot of strikers.

He was still one of if not the top goal scorer for his club that season and is still only 19 years old and has a lot of learning to do.

its a european ref, they won't take anything and rooney had a chance to get the ball...fair play to the lad...scholes was offside but because of the new rule, he was not involved in the play which could have gone into a second phase and then scholes would not have been offside. Hope that cleared that up!

Agreed. I'm an English fan but I don't think that deserved a Red. Final warning maybe but not a red. As a fan I would rather lose than go through with false hopes this puts the odds in our favour a little unfairly, however that's why we have the groups so it all kinda levels out.

It's been a poor game so far. Maybe im being unfair as it's extremely hot there but our guys only seem to be hanging in there and doing the bare minimum im sure they could put the extra effort in and get another goal I don't want this to turn into another England France game.

Rooney is someone who needs 2 behave himself if he learns that he will be a good player.

It was a fair challenge, he was perfectly entitled to go for the ball

will be a good player?

he is already an excellent player - the most talented young player in the tournament. only christiano ronaldo comes close, and he's a bit girly ;)

He was perfectly entitled to go for the ball as no-one had possession/control of it. Perhaps if you played more Football and talked less crap you'd know the difference!!!
