Can I find my Win XP pro Serial key in the registry somewhere? Anyone kindly tell me where it is stored please.

why do that when u can do:

start > control panel > performace and maintenance > system and it should open on general where u will find ur serial

Thats not the serial, thats the Product ID. :)

yeah i had that progrm, but i did have my hands on an even better one when windows craked down on xp serials, u could look at the serial and change it without having to reinstall xp so u could get the important updates that windows where being tight with :angry: forgot what it was called though <_<

yeah i have that one i think which has 3 funtions:
to view key
change key
key maker.

if anyone wants it pm me with ya mail addy and ill send as an attachment
