I think think think, that it means it comes with the essentials, Mobo, Ram, Cpu, and Video Card, you have to supply hard drives and optical drives

From what I can tell, a "barebones" system typically would include the SFF case/mobo, a (tiny) PSU, and (usually) the special HSF required to fit the case.

You supply the RAM, CPU, optical drive ( only one!) and the HDD.

They seem increasingly popular in the modding community.
Mostly, I think, because they require so much work to make them run cool if you buy hot rod components.

Have fun.

You got me.

I guess they are not, but I see more SFF versions since the required parts are so specific to that application.

My bad.

You should be able to buy those parts seperatly for cheaper..then get a HDD and a video card and an optical drive

Actually...that might be cheaper...how do they do that? lol

How do they run PC2700 when it needs to be 400Mhz ram? is the FSB just 666 instead of 800? and its slower? or what

• 512 DDR PC2700 DDR400 RAM

DDR400 is supposed to be PC3200.
