hi i'm having a problem with my yuan smartvga radeon 9600 SL 256mb graphics card, is it possible to improve it by downloading drivers, or using different graphics drivers.

can u help me its running like a peice of shit.

i have also tried clocking it up, it seems to do nothing, its still choppy.
and one more question, what the hell does the extra 128mb on top of the standard do anyway

Ati cards are the best ? :P They do take some tweaking tho :lol:

extra 128mb on top of the standard? uhh, i guess u mean 256mb instead of 128mb, means it has more video ram so can hold more graphis info, but it is unneeded in todays games so no need to worry.

what are teh rest of your specs? and what game are you trying to play?

try looking at my guide (link is sig) and follow the defrag, msconfig, services.msc sections, and run a virus scan and spyware scan using the info in teh guide as well.

Try the omega drivers , while a great vid card lot's of playing around. :lol:
