It should be but HDD manufacturers use a different GB spec to the rest of the computing industry, one that makes their products sound better.
A HDD GB appears to actually be 1,000 of our Earth MBs, so I believe a HDD TB would actually be 1,000,000 of normal computer MBs.

Not even that, they even use the rule that 1MB = 1,000,000 bytes.

A HDD manufacturer&#39;s TB is 1,000,000,000,000 bytes or about .91 computer TB.

ya i guess that is true, BUT, getting really technical here, he asked how many GB are in a TB, not how many GB are in a 1TB harddrive....if you wqant to get that specific lol.
