couple of points

scrolling text MARQUEE is a bit old , and unfasionable but if you want to keep it change the background color to the same as the page background so it doesnt stand out so much

the main menu text is had to read due to the font used, and the main header / title disapearing is clunky and a bit dodgy , i would leave it stationary , as it describes your page

seems to be a lot of wasted grey background , with no content , making it look unfinished , perhaps resize your tables ( ps in looking at it with 1024 screen size )

and if the page isnt maximized the tables crash together, perhaps a bit more coding is needed to prevent this from happening

if you use a more advanced program like dreamweaver instead of Microsoft FrontPage 5.0 , you will be able to solve the table errors easily

and remove this script

<script language="JavaScript">
<!--self.moveTo(0,0)self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)//-->
</script>

remove any unused scripts like this one as well

&#60;script language="Javascript">
function click()
{ if (event.button==2) {
alert(&#39;Due to link, graphic, and HTML code stealers, this option is not available to you :-(&#39;);
}
}
document.onmousedown=click // --&#62;
</script>

the counter is old fashioned , but if ya need it , hid it somewhere ppl dont normaly look , as for the most , the counter is for you and not you users benifit

last thing the main picture of the house is a bit small and blury , this being the main focal point of the page , perhaps make it a clickable link to a full size picture the user can view better

sorry if this seems like critisim but its not im just trying to help
keep going and let us know when you do some changes

Try changing the backround color, it&#39;s nice keeping a website simple but this one is too simple. Also the banner looks good but not really diging the font. Other then that it&#39;s not bad, keep messing around with it.

what border?
if you&#39;re referring to the margins, you can use negative values in css...like:
body { margin-top:-2px;}

@ Kazaaman: Not too bad, but the background color... Why does it change when the page is reset? When I first looked at your site, the background color was grey. I accidentally reset the page and the color became red (That and the bright red scrolling text blinded me&#33;). I reset again and now the color is black. Was this intentional? :blink:

@ Sparsely: You&#39;ve made quite a bit of progress since I&#39;ve last viewed your site. It&#39;s coming along nicely. The pages styles is a nice touch. Oh, and there&#39;s going to be a log-in feature, eh? So I guess there are future plans for visitors to interact with one another. How interesting... :)

If my window is less then 1024 width the linkz overlaps news and i need to scrooll right to see affiliates

you could try putting everything into one table that has a width of 100%. then give linkz and affiliates set width so news will cover the rest of the space. this will make the site readable in any resolution over 600 width
