Firefox Themes

hi, i'm using firefox 0.9 and i'm trying to download and install the Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) 2.63 theme

first, i tried to click on the "INstall Now" link, but nuthin happens
then, i tried the "Download Theme" link, then i went to the firefox help section to install it...still that doesn't work

pls help coz i'm new to this

as far as i'm concerned, javascript is enabled and i have spybot s&d, which i made sure doesn't affect the javascript in firefox

erm...i think i've a slightly different problem

u see...Noia has been updated to support firefox 0.9, so in theory, i should be able to install it.

but i just can't, and i'm still wondering why

I have problems like this sometimes too, does it do it with all skins? or just the one?

usually for me double clicking, clicking again, closing fierfox, reopening, etc. works to make it eventually download lol.

I was also having the same problem you describe, but with the Pinball theme. (I already had Noia so that may have been the same).

Pinball seems to be ok now, suggest you retry Noia.

That's why I don't use Firefox, it's always been that way mostly when installing extensions but sometimes it refuses to install themes as well.

I had a keramic noia theme for mozilla and it looked just as good.

Actually, I think it is more likely that the site was simply in danger of being overloaded, and was rejecting any more connections.

That sort of thing often happens just after a new release of any software.

hey, i think i found out why i can't install all those themes

in the Options->Advanced menu, i have unchecked the "Allow website to install software"

now, my browser is nicely decorated by Noia...thx for ur replies guys
