Me too, but for those who don't its a good thing.

Personally, I find the firefox google bar invaluable but there are those that stick with IE...

Cool. Does this bring the forum money too? If it does I will stop using the one in Opera when I am here.

I am sure others will contribute in that way too ;)

Its part of the adsense scheme. I think if users click on the ads displayed on the search results page a percentage is paid (though for me the ads are blocked so I can't see them anyway).

If you want to defeat antispam just use the following steps:

1. Write witty reply of your choosing.
2. Press "Add Reply".
3. Wait to see if it has replied properly.
4. Take long drink of beer (this should have given you enough time to circumvent antispam).
5. Select next topic to reply to.

My public service announcement for the day.

That would be helpful if it was Flood Control we were trying to get past, however Anti-Spam is a completely different thing.

Nice try though. :)

Guess I shouldn't take a long drink after every reply :ooops:

Oh well, have one with me anyway :beerchug:

...and now it is time to install the arcade... :)

The arcade is actually installed, however there are several errors in it. The guy that installed it said that since this is a custom script he doesn;t want to mess around with anything.

I am trying to have the antispam feature disabled, but its not as easy as it seems.

Would it be possible to move the search bar in such a way that the overall height is reduced? I'm thinking about the poor 800x600 users who have a lot of scrolling to do before even seeing the "contents" of our board.

yeah, its fine as long as they dont have to scroll sideways.. just fek the idea about them having the scroll down and down to get to the rest... <_<

i know it makes no sense but i will leave it

Why not just do a board re-install to get rid of anti-spam?

now for the stars, come on, how long does it take you to decide

and image resized, or has that been changed?

It should be a little less height consuming now.

Plus it now opens in a new window, so you won&#39;t lose the topic you were in.

Tip for clicking the banner (which everyone should do once a day ;) ):
Hold shift while clicking it to open it in a new window. Wait a sec for it to load and close it B)

Yep, you can make Rookie very happy if you would do that each day :D

The search only brings in a few cents if you click on ads that are inserted among the results. Simply using the search doesn&#39;t generate anything I think.

Best is to just click the on ad links at the top of the forum.

Nope, that html code is fully controlled by Google :(

Holding shift button is only solution.

Am I the only one who thinks its a waste of space? I have the google desktop bar. Google is something that is really easy to get to already. That search bar doesn&#39;t look nice in the middle of the page. It makes the top look funny. (does anyone one else see an X ?)

Having google search just makes me scroll even more for every page load.

but since everyone else seems to like it and since it does make the board some money I guess I can put up with it

and one more thing... G<span style='color:red'>oogle </span>> Yahoo

Well, it helps recover some of the costs of running this forum. This means a brighter future.

Instead of going to google to search or using your toolbar, come to FST to do your searches and help out :-)

I will use the google bar mainly cos I&#39;m too lazy to open up a new window in Opera.
How&#39;s it work Mr. B? Do you get paid per search or is it just a flat rate for hosting the search link?
