Just plug you caoxial cable tv wire into your tv tuner card. Then install the software of your choice and it will work right away.

OR, if you have satelite or digital cable, then hook up a digital receiver to the tv tuner card, set the computer's software to channel 4 or whatever, then you change the channel using your digital receiver.

unfortunately, the cable option is out too as it would mean going right across the house with a cable...are there not any boosters or anything available?

yeah I think so. I have one in work that runs off a portable ariel I picked up in asda for £8 and an old signal booster.

not exactly digital quality but does the job for me neighbours fix at half one ;)

The black cable that goes into your TV or Cable Box. It's tje black round cable...with the metal connector at the end. And if you look inside, you should see a very small copper wire protruding from the center of the wire.

Nahh, any other way will be crap quality and probably only get like 2 channels lol.

you could just get like a 50ft wire and then when u want to watch run it along the floor to your tv or something, then when ur done unhook it, roll it up, and put it away or something like that.

Theres good movies on Channel 5 you mung :P

Try getting yourself one of those Freeview boxes; make sure you can get it in your area (www.freeview.co.uk has a checker). I can get hold of them for £20 each, but I'm sure they won't be more than £50 at say ASDA (/me smacks back pocket).
