Help With Site Design

hey all me and friend made a site well I did most of the
graphical stuff he did the stuff to fill the site.
any way just want to know what you think of it
on the first page i did all that and the buttons
but he made the other stuff
like the comics, some funny stuff there
so have a look

Yo, I'm the co-author of the site. There are actually three people involved,
Me (Locke), Qaz and Lynne. Most of the content is done by me, but the script
for one of the comics, and some other content is Lynne's work. Anyway, we would
really like to hear how we can improve the site layout. Helpful insight is always
appreciated.

Interesting that someone with an advertisment banner as his/her signature would
call our honest plea for constructive criticism spam. Perhaps the irony escaped

back ground is good

banner at top needs some work as looks a mess, looks like u wrote something behind then put the other image on the top

need to put a space between archive and artwork

change ur hits counter to something else, or remove the un-used zeros

and @Salajan stop spamming stupid suggestions. U already did that in one of my threads

those are some good ideas
but the one about the counter
we cant change
its a web program thats
all by its self
unless you know of a java or
javascript or of some other code
of a counter
we are unable to get rid of those
unused numbers

about the banner
your right it was
just what you said it was
there are two images in there
one of the purple/black/lighting
and the other of the wording

and what did you mean by
the space between the
artwork and archive?

you should change the background to something that tiles properly, or else set it to not repeat.
it stops & repeats horizontally at a res higher than 1024x768

Anyway thanks for all the great input, I&#39;ll keep it in mind and try to work in some
of it. As for the counter, it&#39;s actually a pearl script that just happened to be on
the server we use and since I don&#39;t have root permissions, there&#39;s little to nothing
I can do about it.
