The album that has "Civilized" on it. The first rapper to mix rap with classical music..... and he did it Better than EVERYONE else. Plus there was MAAAADDDD raps going on in that album.

He doesn't get any respect, and I'm ashamed to say that I haven't followed up on him since, but when I look back on the last 10 years of rap, he is the only one that stands out. (and he has, IMO, the best growl/rasp voice of any rapper. perfect for rap)

@ Salajan: I can&#39;t say that I care for any of the majority of modern, mainstream rappers. I prefer the older rap artists/groups myself. If you are interested, here are a few notables:
