If people want Gmail accounts then please use PMs. Posting your information here in a public forum isn't a good idea. Think about privacy.

To those that have posted them here should consider editing your posts.

I'm still unsure why everyone wants one of these. Surely if these invites are so common the service must be nearing completion and so will be launched for everyone soon.

Also there aren't supposed to be loads of strange things that Google has refused to deny (such as the ability to combine information in cookies from the search engine and those from the mail account to find out alot of stuff about you and the fact that they're not going to delete your emails even if you delete them from your account)?

something i will learn from. if i am to conduct this again i will make sure it is done via pm and not via a thread.

Member privacy should be protected. :)

Those are all rumours. They may or may not be true. Besides, not deleting your emails after you do so, isn't that illegal. Privacy laws, data protection.

I need help with gmail.....for some reason when I sign in, I can't click any of the buttons  Like I can't compose, check my archived messages. I can't even open the damn email! All I can basically click is "Help" and "Sign out". I've gone to the help page and it doesn't seem to have anything about this issue. Do I need some sort of plugin or something?

problem sorted, it was Ad Muncher of all things that was stopping it from working

if you disable it once you have logged in and got to the gmail page, then hit page refresh, it works fine

if you don't wish to keep disabling Ad Muncher, then go to the gmail setting and switch on the keyboard shortcuts, and they continue to work with Ad Muncher enabled

You should use Firefox instead. Time to Dump Internet Explorer (http://www.securityfocus.com/columnists/249)

Dude THANKS!!! Good find :) I never would've suspected Ad Muncher being the problem.

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any invites left? I would be greatful although I do realize the shortish supply. As other people have pointed out could i get a PM to minimize spam.
Many thanks Johan
