View Full Version : Alcohol 120% Problem

i just downloaded diablo 2 offa bit torrent, and it kinda forced me 2 download alcohol to mount the images (they were alcohol image format)

anyway, i installed diablo, and now, when i want to play (singleplayer), it gives me crap about inserting the "play disk"...... but i have all 3 disks mounted!!!

what goin on here????

no.......... it didnt come with a crack........

but why would i need a crack if i have a serial and the "disks"?

almost every game requiers a crack to play, you're not looking hard enough

you need a crack. I also downloaded that game from kazaa lite (not where u got it, but probably same thing). If it didn't come with a crack (mine didn't) then go to www.megagames.com and get one.

Make you have the latest ver. of alcohol. It should work.You also have to check off
Ignore media type,and have running in the backround.

becuase the original discs have special bad sectors put in purposely to tell teh game that it is the original cd. If you just copy the game it doesn&#39;t copy those corrupt csectors and the game knows it isn&#39;t a real cd.

Also, when making ISO&#39;s&#092;bins the program has to also put these sectors into the iso, which they usually don&#39;t, clonecd is teh only program I have seen that is able to do this, which is why for teh longest time it was my favorite cd copying program...
