So did you do anything longer than normal?

Sun shifted as otoday to the other elipse.

on midsummers day I always make sure that I see the sun rise and the sunset............. somewhat of a tradition even if I am alone. This mornigs sunrise was especially beautiful, blue, lilac, pink and orange.

If you go north enough, like, Arctic Circle (http://www.bugbog.com/maps/polar_regions/arctic_circle_map.html) and beyond, you get the Midnight Sun (http://www.turtlepuddle.org/bio/summer/solstice.html).

On the other hand, its pretty dark in the winters.

Daylight Savings, anyone?
