I have XP home edition installed, i activated it by dling a batch file and opening it in safe mode, so windows seems to be activated, however when i go to install SP1 that i dled from microsoft, it goes for about 15 seconds then says SP1 is shutting down,

when i use my disc ( i have from a dell computer) i tried installin Sp1 admin and the standard one, but they wont install, so how can i get my USB2 drivers and the otherstuff?

You need a non-black listed product key.

That is teh one i sent you, it will let you install SP1, now if your gonna keep using home edition (not sure wy you would), then you gotta find a home edition key changer and keygen, then find one that works. There are lots out there, so it's not impossible, but will take a bit of searching.

You need a legit version. You can get one over at staples for $270.

Wanna use home, fine, you gotta find a keygen and key changer though.
