Yeah sorry bout posting this topic but its getting pretty ridiculous.

At the mo iv uploaded nearly 2 gigs of UT2004 using the torrent from Suprnova.

...And iv only downloaded 1.2 gigs.

If you have this game can you please share it. I can usualy download 1 gig overnight but at the mo im lucky to get 200megs...

Average download speed=34kbs

Av dl speed for UT2004=3kb

oof, that sucks...but dude, get it on IRC, I finished it overnight (seriously, all 6 cds) UT2004 is the easiest thing to get on irc. if you want it to resume (so you don't have to d/l the same part again) just move it to your IRC d/l folder (i'm assuming it's the deviance DVD)

as for suprnova, almost all my d/ls there go super slow.

How many seeds/peers are you connected to?

What BT client are you using?

What do you have you upload speed set to?

OK THIS MAY SOUND REALLY STUPID... but...

I have never tried IRC...

i dont even know where to begin.... iv never been interested in it... until now that is.

So what exactly is it. Like Edonkey, Kazaa etc?

It would be so good if you could set me up so that i cud finish the rest of UT2004 using this "IRC"

You wont be able to continue your d/l with mIRC cause BT downloads in random pieces. IRC goes from start to finish.

Just stick with BT, I get speeds of over 400 kB/s all the time. Too bad I fill up my hdd in a week :lol:

i download at 34kb max

i have no idea how many seeds/peers im connected to.

i am using Azereus

My upload speed is at 5kb

Try getting BitTornado (http://www.bittornado.com) The Expiremental is the best so far IMO.

Set upload settings to Dial-up/IDSN and change speed on the right to 3 kB/s.

Go to Settings and change ports to something in the 50,000 area. Make sure if you have a router/firewall to forward those ports.

Dray, you should definately get IRC a try, it kicks ass and you can get some good speed im currently download True Crime and gettin like 161 kb&#39;s :) its fairly easy to use if you need any help post on the forum :)

Hold CTRL and hit P to paste the line it gave you. It will prob put you in this long ass que line and tomorrow you might be able to start your d/l only to have it stop for no apparent reason during the night.

EDIT: dont go there. You are fine. That shit will pop up just about with each new server you got to.

When you paste in the message it will tell you your are in spot ? of 23 or something. Assuming the line isnt full. When its your turn in line it will ask you if you want to download.

well, thats why in ircspy you have it to not show offline bots, and show bots that dont have a line.

dray did you get klipper from the link I sent ya? It&#39;ll tell you the queue, it&#39;ll list packs found on bots, it&#39;ll do just about everything you wish IRC would do. email me if you have problems.
