I had a old version of kzaa lite running andit worked great but today i tried opening it and it got a error message before it opened saying "kazaalite.kpp has encountered a problem and needs to close." i tried opening it a couple time mre to no avail so i decied to delete itand reinstall. That did'ntwork either so i go the new kazaa lite++ i installed and set it up but once i went o run i i received the same error message since then i have'nt been able to use kazaa, please help. Also today before the error i donloaded the weatherbug through aim and a spyware eradication program called spyware nuker, i have deleted spyware nuker since then, it did'nt help anyhing and i ran a spyware check with spysweeper.
Have you tried reinstalling and deleting your DB folder?

Someone give this guy a link to download KLite Resurrection. I've googled with no luck.
When someone posts a link, uninstall whatever old version you have, then dl and install KLite Resurrection. Should be good to go then. :D

Did you follow my instructions with KLK++ 2.4.3? If not try KL 2.6, see the sig

actualy i deleted 2.4 when i got resurrection, i'm starting to think theres something on my computer preventing me from using kazaa, possibly one of the programs i recently downloaded because the problem seems to stay with each new version of kazaa lite, altough if you think 2.6 would help i will try

i now have kazaa lite 2.6, it actually opens but once i click search it does the same old thing with the error message. when installing 2.6 it said i was missing a file called c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts i searched found a replacement file, however when i replaced it it did'nt solve the problem even after i uninstalled kazaa and reinstalled it with the new hosts file.i believe a spyware eradicator program ive used deleted this file. is that file nessasary for kazaa to run, if so where can i get one that will work? if tahst not the problem i don't kno what is, please help

also i tried deleting the files in my db folder, both with new kazaa and old, that did'nt help as it did for the other fellow
Everytime you reinstall 2.6 it will create a HOSTS file, it isnt 100% needed, but is reccomended. Have you tried moving all your tempory .dat files out of your shared folder?

I am having problems exactly like this. My k++ wouldn't open so I uninstalled and reinstalled from the same install file that I used before(which worked) and the new install is giving me the same error message. I also get an error on install that says that windows/.../hosts doesn't exist. I sure hope you can help as i miss my kazaa! By-the-way, where is this DB folder?
