Please forgive JP, we are not used to such transparent motives.
I personally have never heard of such a unit.
Should one have ever existed, I suspect that their fall into obscurity would have been so rapid as to have sucked all traces of their being away with them...like a musical black hole.
You might try asking this up in MusicWorld, FC is in an excellent mood today and will be eager to help out.

Not a household name then?
The tuba sounds like a hippopotamus farting under water. I cannot imagine what a band led by this instument would be like - but I suspect if used against Iraqi prisoners it would breach the Geneva convention.
Didn't the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band use it of an occasion?
