Is it possible to connect my PC to my stero speakers or stereo at all?

yes you can. you just go to radio shack and buy a wire that goes from your speaker out in your computer to a dual head thing you plug into your amp. i have 1 they cost about 10$ can and work good. i'll try to find a pic for i don't know the names of this kind of stuff. rossco or someone might be able 2 tell u what its called.

thanx...might not need to now tho....just tried to update the TV software i wanted to use it with and it managed to delete the software from my PC...whatta bitch

called either Y adaptor or a rca to 3.5mm adpator...

you plug the black (3.5mm jack) end into your computer's line out, and plug the red and white into your stereos input.

also can i put in a restore disk and choose what to restore? i only want the software for AVER TV, nothing else, otherwise i will have to maybe reformat the whole thing :angry:

Put the disc in, and explore it, see if u can find anything that may be related and find a setup file...might be there, may not...good luck. ;)

i have tried to explore the disk but nothing there...i have tried system restore but it keeps saying that it can not restore to any point...any other hope in hells?

search some P2P apps for the program u want...or get a different program...

ok, i tried suprnova to find AVER TV again, but nothing...do you know any decent programmes that will let me view TV on the PC?

that is it. and its not likely you have one with your dvd player if thats what u asked.

What came with the tuner? or did the tuner come with your computer???

i've been searching google, dTV seems popular, although I have no idea if it is any good or not.

My friend has a leadteck card, and uses teh Winfast software to watch his tv and stuff...might wanna give that a go.

edit: think i misunderstood peoples sites posts on the forums i found...think dTV means digital television lol. forget that. try the winfast program if u can find it.

i am not sure about the turner, the software was already installed. How would i find out what card i have? I will give dTV a look

tried the getdataback...it no work :angry: this pc is as it is currently set is going to be hooned...i'm going to double its speed in a minute...by chucking out of the upstairs window...time to reformat...see ya on the other side

well after trying to reformat the new pc, found out disk did not work, and it killed my pc...woking on that one still...anyways...i did find out that there is an option on my recovery disk to just reinstall the pre-installed software...e.g. aver tv....so there ya go rossco!

the error i was getting after reformatting was: load DLLs for kernal (or something like that). Phoned support and they said download win 98 start up 2nd Ed. Then phone them back....haven't done that yet...

on a good note tho and back to what the thread is about, i found one of them leads for my stereo speakers...it came with the flat screen so now i got it hooked up to my stereo and sounds great...good work rossco and co
