Any Way I Can Play Gta Vice City Ova Lan?

Is there any way me and my m8s can play gta vice city over a network.
we got MTA but that only supports online play or does it???? any ideas guys :o

find the host IP out and force the others to connect to that

k ill give it a try.
ill use my olds computer as a dedicated server 4 gta vice city.....but how do i figure out wat the comps ip addy is?

this probably isnt thee easest way but goto run>cmd


then type "ping computer"


the word computer being the host pc's name


it should give you a report with the IP listed as well

Then type ipconfig

but now i gota new problem ive downloaded the mta server but i want to configure it so i can play STUNT mode. ive read the readme in the server file and im a bit confused bout wat it says. :frusty:

The default configuration file is “mtaserver.conf” and should be located in the same directory as you place the executable. You may override the path / filename by using the “-c path” or “--conf path” pro
ram arguments while running the server.

wat does it mean by "override the path / filename using the “-c path” or “--conf path”" :huh:

i think it meansincase you dont want to put it in the vcce city directory

houlnt be anything to worry about
