Which P2p U Use?

i was wondering what p2p u use now since kazaa its too shitty now. i tried soulseek but the wait time just for 1 songs is wayyyyy too long. is there a p2p program out there like kazaa that lets you dl songs from multiple users and almost instantly instead of a huge wait time for a 5mb file?

SoulSeek is Teh Best, but not the fastest.

If Speed is not the issue for me so im using Soulseek, and I dont usually DL singles,
its albums all the way.

I found some stuff on eMule also, but mostly crap quality, some albums i had to DL to see whats teh bitrates.
Kazaa is fast for 128k singles, just tested it (++2.43 still works, heh),
had to DL few Elvis Presley songs and i got them pretty fast,
but its all crap-128 which imma gonna have to delete later.

There is good quality too in eMule and Kazaa but the Time Issue aint better than in Soulseek. If im going to DL at 192k or better, i'll stick to SS.

Its all comes down to the question "how serious you are about this?"
If you collect un-organised crappy singles, stick to Kazaa and the likes,
but if you're into doing some Organising and collecting good quality albums,
i'd say SoulSeek is cool.

the last few songs i try dling from kazaa, mid way through the download mp3shield pops up an message that says the file im trying to download is curropted...and sure enough, it was. i tried about 15 downloads of 1 songs and all of them were corrupted :(

Personally I think that DC++ is the best fastest and easiest.

Damn man ive been using kazaa way to damn long but just as i read u saying ares is like kazaa i tried it at first before i had downloaded it i thought it was gunna be a bunch of crap. But noooooooooooooo!!!!!!! This is like kazaa lite before all the fakes and crap man i love this everything is so fast no more fake movies music etc guys i recommend everyone use it now just try it its soooo easy to use its exactly like kazaa no adds no nuthing just perfect even better. My god ive never been happier.

I just downloaded Ares and it's working great. It actually is downloading faster than kazaa and not turning up any bad files or anything. I've used Soulseek before and I thought it was okay but it is pretty slow.

you guys havent tried anything till you tried ares i get speeds up to 400kbs per sec thats my normal speed on kazaa and those are the only 2 ive had those speeds with bittorent shareza irc or what ever are all no good to me but ares is the best i hope it dont turn out like kazaa.

:blink: time to go try that. i've tried dc++ in the past, but the problem was i had a 60GB hdd so everytime i try to join a server or w/e it is, nope, sorry, you share too little, bye.

and that is if im dumb enough to share my whole hdd with all the important stuff on it.
