That's an 'unofficial' version made by dg_mortal.

Nothing special. Pretty much the same as 2.4.3 with a couple of tools updated.

They seem to be working on K Lite 2.6, but it seems to have a way to go B4 its stable.

Aside from the fact that it will have tabbed searches are there any other befefits of 2.6 ?

1. better hashing (makes faking files harder)
2. uses a 'soft-jump' for supernodes, which doesnt pause your downloads
3. connects to the new supernodes (ppl will say the whole node things a rumor but me, Lite, oxygenuk, DeaDoubleJ & someone else tested and it's true)
4. includes MP3shield
5. incudes KaNAT (removes most of the red x's for people behind a router)
6. newer tools
7. and more i can't think of off the top of my head

Sounds good

Is it good enough to install now ?

I see it has a two step installation procedure

Well, that's bullshit. It still uses the 'old' hashing scheme. You mean Magnet hashes, but those aren't used to identify files on the network. Magnet hashes are only checked after you have downloaded the complete file. They're worthless.

You say that, but the guy who did kltools says the opposite, so how can i verify that myself?
