Cant Get Ps2 Slide Card To Open The Tray.

First off.. swap magic 3.0's website instructions arnt detailed enough http://www.success-hk.com/manual/slide-tool/index.htm

I cannot figure out how to use the card even after reading those instructions 10 times.
I already removed the little cover properly and it opens and closes fine.
The card goes completely in "UNDER" the tray, but which way does the little hook thing face??? "DOESNT TELL YOU THIS ON ANY INSTRUCTIONAL SITE and I've seen like 8 different ones. This is very important because I've tried it both directions..slide the card from left to right and it doesnt do anything!
Any ideas?

my guess is to the right (since ur moving to the right when the hook is supposed 2 work) else its kinda useless...........

Yea, it was. Just took me awhile to figure out how to push and pull the thing inside with the card. harder than it seems.. and the resitance is tougher too.
