I'm back with a new rig check the stats.

amd 2500+
a7n8x rev2.0
1gb OCZ DDR 400 pc3200 dual channel w/heat spreader
WD 120gb ide
WD 80gb ide
ATI 9800 pro
asus 16x dvd-rom
mercury 8x dvd burner
thermaltake 420w atx psu dual fan
cobra atx case w/3fans lights clear side panel
MS keyboard op mouse combo

total:$1514 after taxes.

critisms complements insults all welcome. Just got my internet working I'm gonna
try some port forwarding then some gaming. :D

Thanx to everybody who gave me advice or asked questions I wanted to know the
answers to also. ;)

Did I mention how quiet it is?

so far so good. I've been working all week so I haven't had
a chance to enjoy it yet. Only thing thats wierd is that i think
I had a DoS attack never had that on win2k I'm using xp corp.

but neither here nor there.

get a firewal, antivirus, and run windows update...

sygate caught it but I don&#39;t know why I was targeted it could have been
something wrong with my connection from switching comps I don&#39;t know.

nahh, they just atach like all computers they can find, random IPs...

Nice system :).

Though, I don&#39;t think you should have bought the Asus Dvd-Rom, as you already bought the Mercury Dvd-Rw.

How&#39;s your gaming experience with the new system? What games did you tested it with?

Kinda high price it seems to me..you built it im guessing though&#33; Pretty nice. Yeah the dvdrom with the dvd burner is kinda wierd.

Got to DVD Rom so he can do on the fly copies of dvds. Really useful for making copies of DVDs in about 15 mins.

yeah price seems high to me to......... i got nearly the same a month ago (cept the video card, that was 9200 SE instead of 9800) for 700 euro
