I have downloaded several songs recently and they either download and there is a loud screech or there is no sound at all even though it seems like the song is playing. Am I stupid or is this normal bs from the music companies?

Most likely they are corrupt files, try using the search function to find more about this increasing habbit.

I've been d/l'ing different songs and noticed they've been coming out all choppy.. I've had the screeching before and figured they were d/l'ing to fast or something..

Could my copy of kazaa lite be bad or something . It's happening on every song lately!! :/

Hey, a lot of folks are new at this. Did you ever ask for advice??? If it's too much trouble for you then find something else to do.

What I can't understand is why do other P2P's not have these files ?

And why can't people with say more than 2 fake MP3's be barred (temproarily) from K Lite till they remove them ?

Becuase the RIAA hasn't moved to othe P2P softwares. I'm sure they will but we will just keep on making new ones. To answer your second question, some people might have bad mp3s but great movies with high bandwidth. So if we blocked them we will be loosing out on the great movies. Also they could always change their IP, which means we can't ban them permenantly. Also, who would go through all that work. It is easier to move to a new P2P.
