When it says theres no such nick/channel its because the bots offline of somethin.

to register your you nick try this /msg nickserv register password [your email here] btw:dont worry about puttin a real email in there they wont send you any emails of spam anything its just so no1 else uses your IRC nickname.

and your good to go. :)
