Cannot View Mpegs Mp3s With Internet Exploer

I need some help because I cant view video mpgs or mp3s using Internet

I just get error mesge says Cannot display page. anyone know whats
wrong?

I get automatic updates for windows, so, could it be another problem? Or, should I go to msn website and get a different update than they automatically give.
