I just downloaded Battlefield Vietnam and installed it without any problems. But when I try to play singleplayer with the map Quang Tri 1968 (?) I get a problem. When it's done loading, a bunch of words flash on the screen and my computer restarts. After my computer has restarted, I get a message saying Windows has recovered from a serious error? Anyone else having this problem with the Razor 1911 release? Are there any fixes?

That doesen't have to mean that it will not suffer from errors or crashes.

Why would the devolper release fixesa dn updates ? Because all games tend to have errors and glitches because of the various system confogurations and different hardware the users have. And also because software is a wournable, and is never perfect as nothing is.

Of course illegal releases will tend to have errors rather then legaly bought games in shops. But if you buy a game you don't get a garanty that it will never fail

I used IRC to download the images. I found a bot that was offering the 3 images seperatley, not in one huge TAR. That way if it gets corrupt, I don't have to download 1.8GB again.

And does anyone have an answer to my problem?

That sounds like the BSOD. Did your screen flash blue when the message with all the errors popped up?

If so it probably isnt a problem with the game.

Actually, I do download games, but the ones that I'm really looking foward to, I just buy them rather than download them, like Half Life 2 or Doom 3 for example.

Only games I buy are online only games or games that are great online for the ps2. Other then that, I just d/l them. Got about 6 burned ps2 games added to my connection the last week:

Silent Hill 4: The Room
Onimusha 3
Hyper Street Fighter 2: Anniversary Edition
DDR Max 2
Front Mission 4
Gran Turismo 4: Prologue
